As a corporation, Mettam Safety Supply is dedicated to fostering an environment that makes effective supplier diversity a reality.  We believe it begins with CEO involvement by promoting and providing opportunities for MBE/WBE businesses to salespeople sourcing new suppliers that fit this vendor profile.  As a certified WBE ourselves, we have found that small companies which utilize technology to extend their scope and scale can compete effectively against much larger companies.

Mettam Safety believes that our suppliers should reflect the markets and communities in which we do business.  It makes good business sense to actively seek out and buy from a competitive supplier base that encompasses the diverse talents within the marketplace.  So, we support ongoing identification and development of supplier diversity-suppliers who meet our high standards and allow us to provide customers the best products and services at competitive prices.

Mettam Safety is working to ensure that its own supply chain includes smaller diversity suppliers.  Our Supplier Diversity Program promotes the participation of MBE/WBE with a company goal to procure products and services from such companies or companies with their own Supplier Diversity Programs.

We feel that by working with a diverse supply chain it will enable Mettam Safety to meet the needs of its diverse customer base while providing quality products and services at the best possible prices.
